These Standards replace and supersede all previous Lochmere Residential Development Standards.

NOTE: THE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS ARE APPLICABLE TO NEW CONSTRUCTION, I.E., THE FIRST TIME THE LOT IS BUILT ON.

RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS

LOCHMERE ...a totally new kind of community that is designed entirely to respond to the quality, natural, active lifestyle of people who know that where they live and how they live are equally important; people whose sense of values include their community; people for whom Lochmere's beauty, quality, lakes, woods, golf and other recreational facilities, privacy and convenience represent a unique opportunity.

This theme should be reflected in each neighborhood, site and building within Lochmere. Flexibility in design is an essential to this theme, and builders are encouraged to respond to this theme with imaginative plans.

These standards are also flexible, and are not intended to curtail creativity in design or detail. Rather, these standards are intended to provide guidance to the designer and a coordinated process for review.

In its review of any plans, the Architectural Committee retains complete flexibility to modify these standards or to apply additional requirements. From time to time, the Architectural Committee may amend these standards to reflect up-to-date design practices.
