LOCHMERE HOA LAKE RULES AND REGULATIONS

General Rules and Regulations:

The lakes in the Lochmere community are beautiful assets and we ask you to observe the rules, regulations, and guidelines listed below. To keep the lakefronts neat and clean for everyone, especially lake front property owners, users are required to pick up debris and stow boats and accessories neatly to preserve the natural beauty for all to see. Remember the lakes are the ‘back garden’ for those who live on them, so please respect their privacy and property.

1. Fishing, boating and other uses of the lakes and surrounding common areas are restricted to Lochmere residents and accompanied guests only.

2. Use of the Lochmere lakes and walk paths are limited to daylight hours.

3. Boating is allowed only on Lake Lochmere.

4. Boats shall comply with all state and federal safety regulations for sea worthiness and approved flotation devices.

5. The only boat motors permitted are electric trolling motors.

6. Vehicles and boat trailers should be not parked on the slip or in the boat ramp areas where they will obstruct traffic.

7. Lochmere LAPS identification decals are required on all boats and are issued only to Lochmere residents.

8. The Lochmere Homeowners Association does not provide lifeguards and therefore swimming is not permitted in any lake or pond.

9. Fishing is ‘catch and release’ for bass, pan fish may be retained. Please retrieve all hooks, weights and line from the fishing area for the safety of others and for the well being of the wild life.

Special Rules and Regulations for Loch Lomond:

1. The walk path is common property for all Lochmere residents to enjoy and use. Please keep the walk path clean of trash and debris and place all trash and debris in appropriate receptacles.

2. Abide by Wake County leash laws and “pooper scooper” rules.

3. Please be considerate of your neighbors, whose back yard abuts the walk path

4. Prohibited activities include: boating, bicycling, skating and skateboarding.
